C-FORGE — C Programming Foundations

Think in logic. Understand memory. · 6 weeks

Nexora C-FORGE is a beginner-to-practical programming track. Learners build a strong foundation through structured concepts, hands-on coding, problem solving, debugging and one final engineering capstone. Each module moves from understanding syntax to writing organized, explainable programs.

Learning outcomes

  • Write, compile and debug C programs from the terminal and an IDE
  • Use control flow, functions, arrays and strings to solve problems
  • Work with pointers, dynamic memory, structures and files
  • Deliver a modular capstone with validation, file persistence and a GitHub README

Prerequisites

  • Willingness to practise weekly; no prior C required

Curriculum

    • How programs are compiled and executed
    • Compiler, IDE and terminal setup
    • Tokens, types, printf/scanf, operators and basic debugging

Assignments

  • Guided practice and independent coding tasks
  • Module assignment and debugging challenge
  • Quiz, code tracing and interview questions

Projects

  • A modular C capstone with file persistence, input validation and a documented GitHub repository

Who this is for

  • University students and beginners who need a C and memory-model foundation

Career outcomes

  • Stronger fundamentals for later systems, C++ or product tracks

FAQ

How is each module taught?

Modules follow CONCEPT → CODE → TASK → DEBUG → ASSESS → BUILD → EXPLAIN: tutor explanation and live coding, guided practice, a module assignment and debugging challenge, quiz and interview questions, then an Explain-It walkthrough toward the capstone.
